I don't usually stray into unknown waters but thought I might stick my toe in the water, so to speak. Just spotted this DS game called Final Fantasy III. Also saw this huge bible thingy for the game for serious strategic missions. What are peoples views on this game? Any good?
Some would argue that it the best of the FF games. If you like rpg's, I'm sure this game will not dissapoint.
I'm considering picking it up...not sure...I do enjoy RPGs, and people speak highly of such things. I own FF I&II for GBA, so, will probably end up buying III at some point. They're pretty good if you're into that sort of thing... (Mudpuddle Distraction!!! )
I aint bought no console yet but not sure whether a PS2 version of Final Fantasy3 would be better or a dinky version on the Ds.lite? My experience is that everything smaller and more compact usually requires the game creaters to cut bits out and shrink a few rooms or there are less levels and different bonuses. Take Sonic, very different to a higher grap. Any screenshots of Final fantasy 3?
Final Fantasy 3 is an old OLD game...and as such...well...it doesn't really NEED cutting down to fit on a DS cart...(or at least, I would doubt that it does...) For me, such an old game, It's something better suited for a handheld, something you can play out and about. EDIT: One thing to note. Super Mario DS. They managed to fit the WHOLE game onto the DS cards, plus a multiplayer and bonus levels...all in 3D...whereas I believe the old N64 version used sprites. So, the DS is very capable of playing FF3 in full version, with better graphics than the original version...albeit a smaller screen. (though I doubt they've done more than brush the graphics up a bit).
