    Here is a Hip Forums, Hippies Community, Poetry Festival ! Here's your chance to write a poem (Hippies are into poetry-lol), and it should be about Hip Forums. Here is my poem.......

    Hip Forums is the place to be
    There's room for you, there's room for me
    Folks are very smart, and funny too
    There's posts to read and things to do
    You'll learn alot, and can be a teacher
    Or a stand up comic, or a psuedo preacher
    You can get an award if you're super Hip
    If you don't like me, you can give me some lip
    It's interesting and radical, and awesome and fun
    There's something on Hip Forums for everyone.

    Well it has been six hours, and no one else has written a poem. OK, so I will write my second one. Here goes.......

    Hip Forums really rocks and rolls,
    Even with it's kooks and trolls,
    Sometimes lively, seldom boring,
    Often leaves my spirit soaring.
    Keeps me busy and out of trouble,
    In my trippy hippy, cyberspace bubble.

    ...And here's my third poem

    Hip Forums really socks it to me,
    It's a winner, and I don't mean maybe.
    It is always just a click away,
    A place where you can have your say,
    And post whatever comes to mind,
    A hipper forum, you'll never find.

    .....And here's my fourth poem (Isn't this fun) ???

    Hip Forums makes the world a better place,
    You can be a persona, but without a face.
    Never leave your home or chair,
    Never have to fix your hair,
    Talk to people without a care.
    Hip Forums rules !!!!!!!!

    Now someone please write a poem, or I am going to feel pretty ridiculous.! Or maybe this will just end up being my own personal, private poetry forum.(You have to admit, I am on a roll ). Ohhhhhhh ! My forehead feels hot, maybe I have a fever, and perhaps I am just a little delirious. I think I should go home and lie down for a while, just take it easy. (Or think of another poem)

    Person, finding person.
    Shit, you are hot!
    Lets share pics,
    and masturbate into
    Yesterday!
    You still believe in peace right?
    Yes, I like pot.
    Buy free speech,
    For 10$!
    Hello, hello,
    What do you prefer.
    Crack cocaine or beauty?
    Fuck it all,
    and fuck the war.
    I will get drunk,
    and post
    Without worry.

    some territory is in dispute
    the males seem genuinely concerned
    in the commotion, the land becomes vacant and charred
    high above, clouds meander in ther pointless ways
    i wonder, when will we stop fighting over mother earth

    Please, No Voting, This is not a contest ! There can't be comparisons, or winners , because without one winner, everyone is encouraged to express themselves without being, or trying to be better than anyone else.

    I usually write rhythmic, rhyming poetry, while someone else uses free verse, and both are so different, just like we all are so vastly different. I totally love A.B.E., BraveSirRubins, and ChiefCowpies contributions, but would never want to try to decide which one I liked best.

    Wish I could write poetry like you! :(

    The Answer
    why to sit and waste here time
    when you can just read books
    when you can just go see your friends
    Or make clean house and room

    I know the answer what it is
    it's not so deep to guess
    just see the ppl who here are
    and feel their wonderness

    They don't feel sad when money's out
    they still feel happiness
    they're kind to help
    they're kind to talk
    they're worth to take here place

    :D

    What is a Hippie?

    We hear that asked alot.
    Is it someone who wears tye-dye,
    and that smokes a little pot.?

    Do hippies usually wear bell-bottoms
    And say "groovy" and "far-out".?
    Are they into free love ?
    Is that what they're about?

    Do they seek out Love and Light,
    And giving Peace a Chance?
    Wearing flowers in their hair,
    And grooving to a freedom dance.

    Speaking up for Love not War,
    Marching with a sign held high,
    Making the world a better place,
    So no one will needlessly die.?

    Are hippies folks who want to do no harm?
    Love the countryside, live on a farm.
    Grow their own vegies, plant a tree,
    Be their own person, simple and free.....

    I love the hippie lifestyle.
    I love simplicity.
    I love poetry!!!!!!!!

    What is Hip? :rolleyes5 :beatnik2:

    What is actually "Being Hip" ?
    Posters ask this everyday.
    How should I feel and act,
    Is there more than just one way.?

    Is it clothes ?
    Is it hair ?
    How do hip and square compare.?

    Can Hippies be short-haired , dirty, or rich,
    Or act like a punk, or a hood, or a witch.?
    Do Hippies necessarily need to be nice,
    Are they vegetariously happy with legumes and rice.?

    Are they socially conscious and politically correct,
    Never backing a system that they're known to reject.?
    Is there an answer to this curious question we ask,
    Are you a real Hippie, or do you wear a Hippie mask?

    Is there a criteria to live up to, or something to "Be".
    Can you judge a person by only the things that you see.?
    Do people need to fit into a label or group,
    Or is this repetitive question a continuous loop.

    To Hip-Be or not Hip-Be ?
    That is the question.............. :sunny:

    Take care, here comes the rabbit hole.

    Jade stained eyes

    falling down that hole as we rise,

    while swirls of pearls form in your hair,

    brushing your cheeks with effortless care.

    Jacksons dreaming of a sunshine

    that will never shine for me.

    A moonlit bliss with the gentle poison flowers kiss

    opens up a light shining, shining through the night.

    Let the whispers dance around a vessel,

    clutching that artery still lost in a distance.

    So dream, dream silently

    as the world below you will weep,

    Weep at your feet and wait as you fall down that hole.

    i wrote it awhile ago, felt like posting it.

    moon girls dance upon my chest

    tiptoeing their way while i rest

    masking their little white powdered noses

    throwing down bouquets of silk ruby roses
    its harvest time

    and theres still a line

    (I was originally going to write a Haiku... but I wanted to just keep adding more and more. So I decided to write a non rhyming poem that has rhythm.)

    ~~~~~~~~~~
    Summer's Light goes to rest,
    which Fireflies then, replace from dance.
    A Breathtaking sight for Moon,
    while a now awoken, young Mind sees.
    Intriguing to any and every soul.
    A Guitar shows intrest to dance.
    It's wail is heard throughout field.
    The boy helps play for Them all.
    Moon silently and sadly watches,
    for it's illuminance, blinds awesome show.
    The tranquil Clouds swift in,
    and gently hugs, consoling Moon now.
    Everything is intertwined beautifully.
    Peaceful and balanced nature here.
    All is living and moving together.
    It's a Story in and for the Canvas.
    Well...its 5:15 am here, i'm tired but i still got some energy for this. :) It's nothing special but its my small contribute to our dear hipforums, hope you like it.
    We're gathered here to share our souls
    We volunteered to speak for Mother
    Here we unite to celebrate life
    This is the core and there shall be no other
    Breach the depths of space and time
    You shall find the stairs to climb
    You may call it odd or strange
    But the world still awaits for a change
    Peace is a state of mind
    Love reaches all mankind
    Unity is like grapes on the vine
    Respect shall be an asign
