i stopped smoking mj like 5 weeks ago and now im really into doing my body up. im doing dumbells atm just raising them up, 5kg on each arm like 10 sets of 10 reps each. im pretty weak atm and i am overweight, nothing alot but i have some fat. and i hear when ur big its alot better for muslce because it will develop the fat into it. im doing situps, i do some running on the spot, skipping rope etc. im 15 atm and turn 16 in august, that wheni will sign up for the gym because i havent got all the equipment myself. any1 reckon i am wrong about the fat? i have alot of motivation towards it now, ive been doing what i said almost every day or every 2 days for the last few weeks now. its made me happy, i can feel the muscles on my arm getting harder and harder. haha im really happy at the end when i have gotten worn out just taking a shower al relaxed. oh and i feel burning on the last few reps before finishing. my mum saysit the muslce growing, but i dont know. its kind of sore burning on the muscles im working on. its not pain just thats when stop and rest for a bit

another good way to get stronger and build up some muscle is by doing pushups. do more and more each day. these are very effective.

it's kind of a natural high, huh? i get euphoric after a nice run... anyways, the burning is normal. it's called working out. you have to 'rip' your muscles so they can grow back stronger. pushing yourself is the only way to get stronger.

If you want a routine i could suggest one yes i realize i am only 16, but i do have adult friends that have been in your situation that helped me create my workout and i was a heavey and nearly obese kid at 15 beofre i worked the weight off...

But you do need to stick to it and make sure you have a healthy diet and i can set you upw ith a basic program that wont require you buying a bunch of shit the worst is a membership to the gym...

ok SO i decided just to post my weight lifting and in a sense a guide to a healthy life stlye.

So here we go first off this is the work out plan for the week for me; I'm not listing excersizes because i want to see if you'd be interested...

    Monday:
    Chest and SHoulders
    Abs

    Tuesday:
    Backs and Traps

    Wensdays:
    Abe Day at the Gym,
Along with some cardio involving walking and some stretches
You can jog if you chose but i would suggest walk a path for a couple of weeks then jog it and work your way up

    Thursdays:
    Arms
Biceps, Triceps, and Forarms the essentials

    Fridays:
Leg day thats all i ahve to say

Weekeneds, you dont have to do this but this is what i do, I like to take a lunch good amount of water maybe 3 water bottles or so and go for a hike or a long walk jjust outta town to the mountains and such or if you in a city to a known location.

    Food Wise:
Now i am not going to tell you need to be anarexic or take these stupid weight loss drinks (which work for some sure but ah...not for me and never ahve full effectivness on most from what i have read).

So this is what i Recommend:
Cut of junkeys and little snackeys this is a pain it killed me to do it, but i am satisfied that i did...now as for the calories dont really matter because i consume on a daily basis about 2 thou t0 4 thouh which is the recommened amount for males..

    Saturated Fats and Trans Fat:
THis is what your watchin out for if they have a lot of this...then you dont wanna eat it...SUch as McDonalds or any fast food greasy chain of restaurant. Now! You can't avoid this and you do need a certain amount such as in meat products! Now, THis is where the whole balanced meal stuff comes in that people say is a buch of crap..k? So you generally need at dinenr something along the lines with protien and vitamins in it...for protien any type of meat product, prfeferably some sort of steak because this seems to be the most effect for protien.

Now veggies and fruits are important such as have corn beans or salad or something along those lines

Breakfast can be just about anything you wanna stear clear of having pancakes and in a sense fatty foods constantly try to limit to about 2 times a week one if possible, scarmable eggs is by far an excellence no matter how you make them and omlets or anything along those lines.

My ideal meal is two Nutri-Grain bars and a bowl of cearel and i have to say i love it..

As for lunch, something that you want that is good and is balanced yet spice it up with snacks and anything that isnt to fatty with the saturated and trans...Me i like a sandwhich peanut butter bolognie anything like that roast beef ohn yeah...and i like to have a gronawla bar such as chewy which is really good for a couple grams of protien and even some vitamins.

Now, lastly Pop products, energy drinks stuff like that...THose are fine but pop is like these worst you can do...that provides an overzealous amount of carbohydrates and etc...Now engery drinks are slightly different i use xience that stuff gives me a kick for lifting and wakes me up in the afternoon...

Lastly you need at least 7 hours of sleep and i can't stress this enough...i do this daily and it works for me

If you wanna know the weight lifting program i use...then i'll post it but lemme know

    Matt~

Seven hours of sleep is essential your body/muscles in general need at least that much time a day to recover, you have to remember when working out you stretch and tear your muscles hence making them bigger. By sleeping at least 7 hours a day you can give them an essential time to heal plus you wont be as sore in the morning then you are without sleep. But main reason is to recover.

Now if you want a run...This is what we do at my school for football, and i am starting this, this weekened as a new type of running for me. You run 60 yards and then back that = 1 time...you do this 5 times as fast as you can then you rest for about 2 minutes and you do it again. For thos who are just getting into this i would suggest a 20 minute rest and weekly decrease the time of rest by about 2-5 minutes each week. You only do this once a week though because this is just your conditioning. I do it on weekeneds.

    Matt~
