Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude, the Galactic Civil War has been over for years. The New Republic and Galactic Empire joined forces and formed the Galactic Alliance to defend against the Yuuzhan Vong.

And WEDGE ANTILLES is still around and kicking ass :D

Star wars. In the end, Darth Vader is killed because he took his helmet off or something. Turns out he was Anakin Skywalker, Luke's dad. I reckon we will have galactic wars and massive shootem ups in space in the year 2034. And we will also have lost mining ships drifting back to Earth.

The end of the films, yeah, but the EU books are still going.

If anyone's interested, check out Timothy Zahn's "Thrawn Trilogy"...Heir To The Empire, Dark Force Rising and The Last Command. It's seriously just as good as ANH and ESB, and blows the others out of the water :D

2034? That prediction sounds about as accurate as Space 1999....
