I like it, alittle mellow but groovy anyhow. It is obvious he does not stand for the same things as his father however. Dead meat is a good song

How strange that I should open this forum and find this thread just as I listen to his latest album (for the thousandth time). If that's no indication of how I feel, I think it's fantastic. My fiance and I saw him in London and we'll be seeing him in Anaheim. I'd recommend that people give this famous rockchild a chance. Friendly Fire is one of the best albums in the last 10 years.

I am an avid fan of Sean Lennon. I am even more obsessed with his father, but that's for a different forum section. Dead Meat is my favorite Sean Lennon song. It looped itself on my MySpace profile for like, the longest time. I finally changed it to my friend's band, El Cantador, in which neither of them are mexican/latino/hispanic in any way. But either way, Sean Lennon deserves credit for being an awesome influence. I mean, he and John have the same DNA, for scream's sake. Just a sweat of DNA that used to flow in John's veins in enough for me to sit shiftly in a chair. Deat Meat is a great song.

Yeah, I like Sean's music, but I'm more of a Julian fan, myself.

I wasn't really impressed with his songs...but it must be really hard to have to live up to your amazing dad.
