Hey i've never tried acid, although i'm pretty intrigued. I'm just wondering- when you take acid are you completely gone to the point that if someone were to try to talk to you (a parent or whatever), you wouldn't be able to utter a response or even knoe whats up. Or is it more of a thing where you're completely aware of what's going on around you but you just see things in a more vivid or psychedelic way? Also- if this distinction differentiates due to amount of hits taken or anything fill me in there. Thanks.
im not experienced with acid, iv done one hit once. just know that your deffinatly not want to be uttering anything to your mum within 6 hours or have the paranoa of having her around when your overwhelmed and confused. as far as i know from my one experience it was like this, i could talk to my friend pretty well ofcourse about shit with some jumbled words here and there when we were alone on a walk. but when i was around all these people at a party, and was overwhelemed and shit and people asking me questions and shit, i was too overwhelmed to talk, i uttered out some anser my friend asked me about takin shit loads of valium and then realised i said it was fine cause he trusted me but i had no idea on what part of real it meant but he was ok. but it felt like i was unable to communicate. but thats cause it turned freaky, but...
It really depends how much you take, and how good the LSD is that you're taking. I've never had an out-of-this world trip on acid, but I certainly know people that have, and I have DEFINITELY read about trips like that. Like Peter Popper said, it would probably be a good idea to stay away from your Mom until you're down enough to think coherently.
i can never talk to my mom when im on acid, or shrooms... but i never take small doses either. i can talk to her on 2c-e though.
well as has been mentioned it depends largely on the dose you take, but it also depends largely on an individual's response to the substance. most people i know find 1/8 ounce of dried P. cubensis to be enough for a strong trip, but i'm not satisfied that i'm "tripping balls" until around 5g (rather than 3-3.5g) as for acid, it can vary WILDLY in how strong a given hit is. never believe hype about "double/triple dipped" stuff, because its a ripoff scam (one which the dealer may not even be aware of due to ignorance, and may take exception with one expressing disbelief, i should add) all the LSD i've taken has been very weak, requiring at LEAST two hits to come close to about 2-3.5g cubes.... so if you just take one hit, you'll PROBABLY be ok to be in public, talk to people, etc., IF you are naturally prone to being comfortable with psychedelics. if you are particularly sensitive to the effects, though, or you just happen to get a good, strong dose, then i'd certainly advise you to stay in a private location. basically hits from the same batch are likely to be basically the same dose as all the others. when you buy, buy several hits, so that you have some basis for comparison. remember the more you take, the more far out there you're going to end up. the acid generally seen by MOST people today is far weaker than the average hit in the sixties. you aren't about to go on some crazy mystical adventure on a mere hit or two, unless you get some high quality stuff. but be careful, and start low with your dosages, because its quite unpredictable. dont do anything you're uncomfortable with, and perhaps simply wait until you have all the time and safety in the world to enjoy it in a calm and relaxing environment.
the first time i did acid, i took one hit, and had pretty good conversations with some drunk kids at the beach and some monks at the hare krishna temple. but still there was an hour in there when all i could do was sit and stare at the wall, and thank god nobody tried to talk to me then. the second time i took one hit, but it was WAY more powerful stuff, and i couldn't even communicate that i wanted to go sit down. i couldn't even go sit down by myself, because my depth perception was so whacked that i didn't know if i was right in someone's face or five feet away from them, and everything was purple and swirly, and the ground melded into my feet and melded into everyone else's feet, and all i could do was try to hold on to my sense of self as i melded into everyone around me and just wait it out. so you never can tell with bees . but even when i'm almost baseline, i have a hard time talking to people who know how i behave normally until i sleep it off.
Chances are your mom would figure out something wasn't normal. I have a really hard time communicating normally while on acid. Quite simply, your thoughts are racing and you are too easily distracted to form a coherent conversation. If all you have to do is respond with "yes" or "no" in passing then you might be ok, but past that I wouldn't attempt it.
dont go around your mom on the first time, a double dose will make it so peoples faces will start to melt, it looks pretty freaky and you might get distracted my random stuff around. You should just go to a park with some friends and do it and find a friends house to stay at.
Depends on the dose and the potency. When I'm peaking i usually find the english language challenging, but at lower doses i wouldnt say im so gone that i like dont know where I am. I def. know whats going on around me, choosing the words that i want to communicate just arnt as easy as it usually is. Shit can get pretty crazy in the 4+ hit region. It def looses its fun factor to an extent.
my first time i took 3 hits, during the come up it felt kinda like shrooms, but more raw, and then i started to feel like a heavy balloon. i was lying on the couch for 3 hours climbing to the peak of the trip it was crazy. definitley do two first time.
depends on the dose. ive experimented with it around 20 times and have never gone crazy to the point that i couldnt function. i have freaked out alot but when you get around people that you know you have to be serious around you can focus for sometime. watch out talking to people because i have noticed that i think that im carrying on a normal conversation and then later i realize that i am talking complete nonsense. and also be very aware that your pupils are dilated veryyyyy large. people sometimes can catch on to that one.
