This movie is so great. I definitely have to see it again. Every character is so beautiful and I left the movie theater with such a great feeling. The VW Microbus rocks, wanna have one, too
This was a great movie.. one of the best i've seen in a long time.. i love dark and sarcastic comedies like Little Miss Sunshine.. my gf's sister thought it was disgusting.. she obviously didnt see any humor in it.. but she dont find humor in life anyways.. but she went off on my gf saying "you're sick if you have kids and like this movie.. i'll never let you watch my kids again".. which was obviously just showing how un-humorous she is.. i actually found it funny that the grandfather was a kiddie fan.. i mean in like a sick.. this is a movie.. funny sort of way.. if it was REAL.. it would have been different.. and i understand this does happen in real life.. and thats another reason i loved the movie.. it probably couldnt have gotten any realer than it was.. i give it 5 stars! a must see for sure
it as ather good... as it has been said. it wasnt as funny as i thought it would be. but it didnt matter. the depth and realistic characters and how close it was to home. made it enjoyable and there was a few laughs along the way. i too loved the boy character. i cried when he found out he couldnt fly. that actor was in a couple of other things as well... very good person to watch.
Glad to see i posted this thread knowing there were like minds with half a brain and a modecum of reason...lol I just loved gandpa. Alan Arkin. He played Cpt J yossarian in 1970 movie of book adaption CATCH 22. And olive was a hot little number...hehehehe Brilliant. Occam
I liked this movie a whole whole lot. Rented it, and then afterwards bought it. I teared up like everyone else when the dude found out he was colorblind. And right before Olive got up on stage I was like "Oh no! Oh no oh no! This could be really really bad..." And lo and behold...
One of my favourites, I haven't watched a movie as good as this one for a long time....The whole cast was great and every character was beautiful in its 'freakness' Can't wait for this movie on DVD.....
i loved this movie. they all had their 'dreams', but in the end their relationships with each other were what was most important. way cool.
I thought it was a really sweet movie about families, their imperfections and disfunctions. My favorite scene was with Alan Arkin as the Grandfather talking to the little girl and telling her that she was not a loser and she was beautiful. Very touching.
I loved this movie too. Before I saw it everyone was telling me how funny it was, so I was expecting it to be hilarious. It is funny, but not in the hilarious way the Steve Carrel's other movies are. I loved it!
I loved the horn scene--I had a little Toyota and all of a sudden ,The horn honked every time I turned left.I left it that way for a few days just to see what people would do when I pulled into a gas station or someplace where folks were standing around. Many frowns and 'what the hell?"looks.Hilarious--my kids were embarrased as hell, which only added to the fun!!.It's hard to believe parents would dress their little ones up like French whores---but they do.
I honestly did not like it at all. I saw it with my friend when it was in the theatre. She loved it and I never understood why.
i really love this movie..you should watch this with your family..it shows how powerful cooperation and unity is. i think the saddest part was when the grandfather died without even seeing her granddaughter perfomed in stage..very touching movie.
oh man, way up there on my faves. i remember seeing the poster before seeing the trailer, just seeing this family pushing a yellow vw bus, i thought "this is a movie i need to see"
