True, he was playing the fool a bit in the Truman Show (love that film).

And yeah, I also found it difficult to swallow watching Jimmy in this role, but as you say he was perfect.

 

Charlie K really does write some good films, I love 'Being John Malkovich' too. They're just weird films, really well written.

 

I love this movie, the writing its excellent. I love Kate's acting... I love how you can find so much reality between the most fantastic situations.
I think it has a very idealistic message behind it all.. of love will find a way.. even if we forget.

 

I definitely love this movie. The plot line is so intricate and it really makes you think. It's absolutely a wonderful movie!

I loved it, but the end kinda screwed it up, why the hell did Kirsten had to send them those tapes...? just to have a big moment in the movie? That was stupid, everything else was great, especially Kate&Jim... They are the best!!!

 

I think she did, because you shouldnt forget your experiences, they are what make you into who you are, if you erase you are just going to make the same mistakes.

 

I didn't think that way... Damn, It should have occured to me, It was the only way for them to learn to live with their differences, but... I think that maybe the doctor should have give them the tapes as an act of remorse... that's me, always thinkin' that I could do things better...

 

Ick, I tried to watch this but it did nothing for me or my husband.

 

I loved this film. Jim was just great I mean I never thought he could be so great in such a pure acting no nonsense film. He was great in the Truman Show but that's because he played the part of a fool (he is really good at acting like he knows nothing).

 

Another work of art!! especially considering this is one movie i will never get sick of! I loved it!

 

I've watched it I don't know how many times, I've just recently bought it though. It's one of my top movies too.. (I forgot about that one when I made a list) either way.. I love this movie.
