Admittedly, my dreads aren't too bad. I've wanted them for years and finally I have them, and apart from the occasional "are those supposed to be dreads?!" comments the reception is alright.

But, I'm a little fussy. I've got some loose hairs going on as a lot of us here do. Some are pretty major. I bought myself a crochet needle, after being told how to crochet dreads breifly, and have tried fixing them up but sometimes I think I'm a bit special

I was wondering if anyone had advice or links to sites with advice (and videos would be super dooper too! but if not nevermind...) on how to crochet loose hairs into a dread?

    Thanks for your time.

Yeah man, it does take forever. I found it difficult to find what I needed, let alone anything detailed enough to help me.

I can't look at it now (college) but I will later. Cheers bud.

yo, have a friend help you because its really hard to fix it on your own, at least I found it difficult to do it on my own.

well its really simple but I dont know its kind of hard to do it on my own because I think my had turns slightly at some point because the hook just gets stuck inside the dread and I have to wiggle it out of there without grabbing anything.

Yeah man! Exact same problem here. I end up pulling more out than I put in!

i think i can see why some of you are having a hard time with crocheting.... in the video they are using a latch hook, not a crotchet hook. a latch hook has an extra piece that closes when you pull it back through so it doesnt get caught up ;)

actually thats the same hook I have, the problem is its just hard to do it, I think my hand slightly turns or something without me noticing. When i got one of my friends to do it she did it easily.
