Well, the title says it all really, lets just take a moment to appreciate just how fantastic music here is. y'know the vodafone music awards are coming up, and its all good. so yeah:

My top 10 (in no particular order, except for Black Seeds, who are no 1):

    *the Black Seeds
    *Fat Freddy's Drop
    *Trinity Roots
    *Salmonella Dub
*I'm saying the Finn Bros (to cover all their work :p)
*Che Fu (esp the song he did with King Kapsi)
    *Pacifier/Shihad
    *Goodshirt
    *The Brunetts
    *The Datsuns

argh, I think that's it. It will probably be different tommorow.
    So...what's YOUR top ten?

Ah, you said a lot of my favourites. I also like Scribe, and I like Goodnight Nurse because they came to our school and it was really cool.

We have great music here, it doesn't get appreciated enough!

Oh my god! A top ten in Kiwi music?!

    How to choose!

    1. Dave! Dobbyn!
    2. Finn Bros
    3. All the Rungas combined (I cheat, too bad, booyah for Pearl, Bo and Bic)
    4. Strawpeople
    5. Goodshirt
    6. Phoenix Foundation
    7. Che Fu
    8. Salmonella Dub
    9. EARLIER Shihad/Pacifier (before they got the big budget FX in the vids!)
    10. Darcy Clay, for what he would have done if he wasn't dead.

I dream of the day when I can finally say: "Who the fuck is Scribe again?"
    Sorry, I'm not a fan.

Also matt - yes, deja voodo are funny. Have you seen the video for "today, tomorrow, Timaru"? oh, it's so funny, especially the guitar solo under the "Rolleston: City of the Future" sign. Magic stuff.
