A Good Free Virus Protection

In a previous story... ...support for AVG anti-virus was going to stop in 2007. That's only version 7.1. There will still be a free version - namely 7.5

Thanks all. I downloaded 7.5 yesterday. Did not need to delete 7.1 as the 7.5 seems to be an update to 7.1 in which the download upgrades 7.1 to 7.5

 

For me..the best antivirus scanner is Bitdefender..
but..it's not free...I use it now..

 

I totally agree 100% Bitdefender is the best
and it is free - if you know where to look and if youre a bit of a cheeky monkey

I've used the free version V8..Bitdefender..
now another version..with antispyware protection included..

what you do is this:

1. google Bit Torrent
2. Download it
4. go to www.torrentspy.com or another torrent spy, search for, and download whichever virus protection you prefer. I like McAfee.
5. Get the key-gen
6. disconnect you internet (this is necessary, or the computer will recognize that you are using a key-gen)
7. type in the key and install
8. now you have "free" good virus protection

Another good way is to just sign up for a trial version.
