Any fans of The Charlatans?

It seems there are not many fans of The Charlatans. I like their music altough I know, its not best quality. They had some funny ideas. But when I listen to my Charlatans records everybody wants to leave the house .

 

the first haight-ashbury psychedelic group,so they deserve an honorable mention.In the summer of 1965 they played at the red dog saloon (virginia city).It was there that founding member George Hunter created the first psychedelic poster.They made one album with some good songs on it.My fav's are:codine and alabama bound.

 

ehh... The Charlatans ARE cool for being the first real psychedelic band featuring the "san francisco sound," but you'd might as well listen to other psychedelic bands of the era like the Airplane, Grateful Dead, or Country Joe and The Fish because all-in-all, they're just better. It's cool that you know about the Charlatans though. Not many people do!

 

codine is one of my fav's too.. I also like "steppin' in society", "how can I miss you when you won't go away" and "32-20" ...
