My parents love to talk to my oh so perfect brother about politics (which he knows nothing about) but when I try and have a converstion their like Molly, shut up with your crazy conspiracy theroies. Oh and my brother can total his car while driving drunk, and they hardly get mad. My dad even went to the crashed car before the cops got there to get rid of the beer cans. I can get one fuckin D on a test and its "Why are you such a faliure?!"
    This is some BULLSHIT!!

How about some family counseling? Also, let me assure you one "D" doesn't make you a failure. It could just be that they have very high standards for you. Possibly they see you are capable of making excellent grades, and don't want you to fall behind. I would just ask them. Obviously, your brother is older than you, maybe that's why they seem to value his opinions on politics. Anyway, just be open talk to them one at a time about how you're feeling. "You know, Mom or dad, I feel hurt like my opinions aren't respected." or " One D doesn't mean I'm a failure, can you explain to me why I was told that I was?" Also, let me add that what your brother did was really inconsiderate and terrible. There is never an excuse for drunk driving he could have seriously hurt or killed someone. I would have taken his car from him if I were his parent. Peace and love.

Finally my mom said my sister was her fave. She didn't no I was listening though, but I'll never forget that she said my sis was her fave and this happened when I was 9 or 10.
