Why does it itch when a mosquito bites?

Why? And why does it continue for days?

 

A mosquito when it "bites" you it sends in a poison (this is what makes you itch) to make you're blood come up to the surface of the skin. The more you itch the more it spreads and this is also how they can transmit diseases.

 

The mosquito injects a digestive enzyme into you, and after several bites a person can become sensitive to them, resulting in swelling and stuff.

Try putting an ice pack on the bite and taking an antihistimine.

If you dont have any benadryl or anything, you can make a paste out of baking soda and water and put it on the place you were bitten.

anyway, to relieve bites: try a cutting from a live aloe plant. the insides of the leaves are a jelly-like substance that naturally cools, soothes, and heals all minor skin irritations.

 

you know ... cause we all have aloe plants lying around.

Aloe's cool, but theres nothing magical about the way it works, benadryl'll do a lot more for ya then aloe vera.

 

my hals go to something a little more potent.

I went out yesterday to cut my lawn, fuck!!! I must've lost about 50 pounds in blood! I was bitten everywhere...

 

Like you really want to know this.....It never fails, I always get mosquito bites on my ass. I don't know if it is because it is getting big, or if my ass just looks tasty. I never put anything on the bites I just ignore it. If you don't scratch the bite, it won't be that bad. So whatever you do don't scracth, because once you start you can't stop.
