Trying to prove a point here...I've never had anything handed to me on a silver platter like some of you are insinuating...I wasn't complaining about the fact that I had to buy my own concert tickets...I'm proud of it.

I was homeless at 15. Having your perents take care of you, and yes giving you a place to stay and food is that, is worth more than you could imagine. Not only do I buY my own shit and pay for a place to stay and food, i did it starting from nothing. You don't even know how much you were given or how much help other people need. And for saying something like "soooooooo 7th grade" I'll tell you again to Shut the fuck up.

 

I've never taken a penny of government money and I lived outside for years. If you need a handout, it outta be a fist.

No, I'm not from some rich family, I left home when I was 15 years old and have taken care of myself ever since. Not taking welfare checks and fucking food stamps.

If the only way I could eat was food stamps I'd jump off a fucking bridge, I swear.

And if you make a baby when you don't even have the education and opportunity to provide for it, you should be sterilized.

 

I think you should go for 3rd grade. thats when the cooties are strongest.


I think welfare should consist of child care, and food stamps. each mother utilizing the child care would be required to spend one 8 hour shift a week providing child care for other mothers while they work. people gotta help themselves, not get the little they need handed to them. However, as a child support paying I father I also think that women should be legally required to own up to the fathers identity before they can even apply for welfare. if the alledged father refuses to take a paternity test it should be like refusing a breathylizer test, automatic guilt in the eyes of the law. failure to appear for court procedings to establishing child support should cause that all his taxible income would be garnished. its not gonna help those people whose baby's daddys are slime and dont maintain a reportible income, but I think its a better system then what we have. In California , women are not eligible for welfare if they know who the father is unless he is deceased. maybe incarcerated, but I am not certain. I believe having a deceased father or an incarcerated one should make a child eligible for some state support anyway.

What about the 2.1 million factory jobs that were lost overseas due to government policies in the last three years?? Did these people not work their ass off too? If the government is going to take away jobs from americans for the sole purpose of fattening the wallets even more so of the greedy filthy rich - shouldn't they be at least somewhat obligated to provide something in return??


By the way, the reason a portion of your taxes is set aside for this type of assistance is with YOU in mind, not someone else. In the event that something were to happen to your job which is out of your control, this assistance is there for you because you paid for it. A large percentage of money that the individuals on unemployment recieve was thier money to begin with - it primarily comes from their own personal taxes and that of their previous employer, not your taxes. Learn to understand how the system operates and why it is there before you criticize it.

I don't think you should have had kids in the first place. You're obviously not in a stable enough environment to raise them, otherwise you wouldn't need any help.
