Uh so what did Bush himself do? I see all this about his family, but what did he do?

It's people like you who give people like me a bad name. I am a Kerry supporter, and I really could care less about what Bush's grandfather did. It's bullshit like this that will lose the election for Kerry. To all you people still on the fence, let me assure you that the majority of Democrats do not believe in this bullshit. While I'm on the subject of things that do not belong in a campaign: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WITH THE CANDIDATES VIETNAM RECORDS!!! I've had it up to here with people demeaning Bush's and Kerry's service records. Lets put the whole Vietnam thing to rest and talk about issues that actually matter, like what Kerry has done in the senate and what Bush has done as president.

    Peace, Al

Proof of Nazism? Again not, move on! Youre comparing a pillock and his born again administration to the most criminal regime in history. It doesnt help any current debate, its just cheap 'your grandaddy was a nazi!' mud flinging.

It's very totalitarian and opressive to allow a search of someone's house, with no notification, with a warrant from an unnamed judge at a secret court. They never even have to tell you they were there.

This discussion is comical. Clearly, the posters who are defending the Bush family here just don't get it. This is about family "values." It's about the attitude of a family - what a family teaches its children - the mentality they are raised under.

I don't think anyone here is trying to say that George Bush is CURRENTLY supporting the Nazi party. But I do think it is VERY relevant to point out that his family had a history of doing so, and a DOCUMENTED history of acting in ways that are racist, fascist, and in line with the belief system of the Nazi party. George Bush senior, who was ALSO president - who was our CURRENT "president's" father, was a well-known opponent of equal rights for blacks. He fought Civil Rights. Are we really stupid enough to believe that this racist bastard didn't pass down these attitudes to his children? When we see his son throwing out hundreds of thousands of black votes (some were actually thrown into a fucking SWAMP, for christ's sake!) in Florida? When we see the current "president" creating a climate of racism and religious zealotry that permits the notion of indefinitely imprisoning, racially profiling, even TORTURING Arabs? Where do you think Bush got his ideas? Out of the sky? Sheesh.

You realize everytime you make one of these crazy ass claims you scare away a moderate! It's true. Nobody want to be with a group that has crap else to say except "Bush is hitler", it makes them seem unintelligent, uncredible, and unlikable. SO KEEP IT UP!!!
