This will sound really strange but I just love hair! Hair is such a beautiful thing isn't it? I don't like it to be neat and perfect though, I like it to be wild and tangled. What's even weirder is that I think I'm addicted to it! Mine reaches my waist but I still want it to be longer. (If anyone has any tips to make it grow let me know) Basically I just wanted to share my love and passion for hair with the world! Peace to everyone!
well I know that when you cut the tips of your hair they'll grow faster and i have also heard about some kind of gel that makes hair grow faster. neat hair sucks
I love hair! The only thing is, mine can't grow much longer than shoulder length because it's physically too thin. I also don't get to bleach/dye/etc or anything else cool with it because I've been warned several times that doing so will permanently damage it (remember what happened to Tina Turner when she tried it?).
Good for you Ancient Hippie. Love your hair. No matter how much or how little you have it's a gift and must be cherished. Peace and love to everyone on this site and in the world.
Haayy ForgetMeNot, I agree, hair is a beautiful thing! I used to have really long hairpast my waist, and then I got a pixie cut... finally it grew out. I think my hair just grows really fast. But, I find that, if you switch between cold and warm showers, it will help your hair grow. I think it has something to do with your pores that hold your roots. And that they open up and have it grow more. (personally I don't take showers much, but give it a try~) Good luck to you my sister!
people are so funny, i never trim my hair and they are constantly telling me to saying it will grow faster if i do, and im thinking "HELLO! my hair is down to my arse, why would i need more, FASTER?!" lol i don't think that actually works though i may be wrong...i love hair too! i got an inch inche cut off two years ago (only recent haircut) and i cried for two hours afterward.
I think that the meaning of hair will grow faster if it's trimmed is because if you don't trim your split or damaged ends, then the hair will break off and you'll end up with a shorter 'do. I try and get mine trimmed twice a year (ish) I usually do it myself though, and get a friend to do the back. Why bother paying $40 for someone to do it for you ? Who wants perfectly straight hair anyways ? It's unnatural <3 Peace and love children of the sun
Neat hair can look OK on the right person - just not on me. I think mine would actually be 3/4 down my back if I actually bothered to brush all the knots, curls and miscellaneous tangles out of it. I still was it to keep it from forming dreadlocks though (dreads do NOT suit me!)
Let it fly in the breeze and get caught in the trees, a home for the fleas in my hair... A home for fleas, a hive for bees there ain't no words for the beauty, the splendor, the wonder of my HAIR! My hair like Jesus wore it, hallelujah I adore it! Some random hair lyrics to keep everyone's day bright. I cut off all of my hair last summer and it was the worst decision I ever made. I made a promise to myself that I would never cut it again and I'm going strong a year later! Here's to the next 100!
Yeah, I love hair too... but I prefer neat, tidy hair to wild, tangled hair. The longer the better, though, for me.
i feel just the sme, forget me not! always get angry when someone cuts his hair.... adore tangled hair...long hair...straight hair...curly hair... eyes and hair are my true passions!
I love hair, too! People keep suggesting that I cut and/or dye mine for a change, and I refuse to do both.
Umm... NO!!!! Hair itself is non-living organic material. Cellular genesis happens only at the root; there's nothing- zip- nada- that can be done to the tip of a hair shaft that will alter what goes on at the root. IF you have split ends trimming will prevent damage from shortening the hair so trims have a place but "trims make hair grow faster" is fairy tale grade bullshit. Long hair rules on guys and girls.
I love dreads. Dreads make me happy. Especially on white boys and girls. Make me want to leave them glittery kisses on their cheeks.
