    Saw this film on chanel 4 the other night, it thought it was Great! what ya think

    gr8 movie is all i can say..the generation of 80s kids actors were awsome

    action kungfu romance war comedy ...... more than 700 classic old movies for your choice(silent movies black white movies from 1921 1930..........)

    it is a terrific movie and I think it is timeless. It is a bit depressing to see where those actors are (or are not) today.

    stand by me is my favorite film, ever. rob reiner is a magnificent director.

    the scene where gordie and chris are in the woods talking about the milk money as vern and teddy slept makes me shed tears every time i watch it.

    I love Stand By Me. My dad and I used to watch it when I was little and I remember him teaching me how to make the popping noise with my thumb for the lollipop song (i dont know the name of song..).
    I had a crush on Chris. But who wouldnt have a crush on River Pheonix back in the day?

    oh man, this movie is one of the greats. I remember thinking Holy, thats what it's about when I watched it one time.
    it's definitely one of those movies when you're little you don't fully understand and just think, hey it's great, when you're older you understand it, and it's great in a different way.
