auditory hallucinations

anybody else hear things when they smoke? i used to get paranoid when i'd get them because i hear engines revving and birds chirping and sirens and people whispering and stuff. now that i know it's just hallucinations, it's kinda cool. it only happens every once in a while, though. usually it's when/if i have a panic attack from smoking too much or whatever triggers the panic attacks.

same exact thing happens to me when im baked retarded. sometimes i think my phone is ringing or that my parents are calling my name.

 

i always hear shit its usually like an actual noise but i percieve it to be something totally different like if i hear a thud...i think it might sound like someone saying my name really low...still its creepy

 

I think my sense of hearing highly improves because I hear a lot more when I am stoned.

 

I hear my parents fight at night it sucks cause it makes it hard to go to sleep. Another time ive heard music when i was stoned and on shrooms i heard my friend talk in an scottish accent but other than that nothing else

ya my hearing is better 2, but sometimes i will hear my dog bark and she is not barkin or my phone ringin when its not. Pretty funny tho

sometimes i'll think i hear a song playing, but when i listen for it and figure out what it is, it dissapears. Cool/frusturating.

 

Yeah I was stoned as fuck at the lumber yard while I was at work and, during lunch break, I thought I heard a Marvin Gaye song coming from the air conditioning unit. That was pretty trippy.

 

Of course, music, thuds, bumps, and then familiar sounds such as phones that aren't ringing or things beeping that aren't really beeping.

Another one is noises that are actually happening, but you just aren't to sure, such as foot steps or this day for instant, I was very stoned and I started hearing this scratching in the wall, mind you, inside the wall. Never really found out what it was.

 

maybe some of the sounds might always be there. being stoned we just notice it more. unless you hear a genie whispering into you ear to set cars on fire.

 

Last time I was tripping on LSD and mushrooms, I went to meditate on the sun rising over the Philadelphia skyline through my window, and I got lost in sound. Just, creating sound, landscapes of noise painted on the walls of my inner mind, crazy shit like my head was a studio of every sounds imaginable, most of it was sound I never even imagined could exist. The best part was that it was in stereo :tongue:

When I first started smoking at 14, I used to think I'd hear people whispering my name. Come to find out later my friends were purposely fucking with me to try to freak me out. I love those assholes. hahaha.


So to answer your question: no I have never heard anything that wasn't really there while or after smoking...unless I was smoking shrooms in the bowl too.

 

Oh I know....trust me.

When I was tripping on 2ce the first time and I took a shower, which I did at least 5 times during my first 2ce trip, it sounded AND felt as if I was in a wind tunnel. I could feel and hear the wind blowing past me and the sound of the showerhead itself sounded like a group of mythical Syrens singing some kind of hypnotic hymn. All while showering myself in multicolored rainbow water.

 

my friends would do shit like that too. Such a buzz kill

 

I hear things all the time, like my mom saying something when shes actually asleep, or music in my head. Alot of the time i hear my dad yelling about smelling pot, when hes not even home or something. I think thats just from my past when he would be angry if my room reeked of it and would bang on the door. But it's always stuck with me almost every time I smoke.

I know exactly what your sayin man I get that a lot. I never actually hear something that isnt there but I hear sounds and perceive them incorrectly at first until I realize what it was.. goodtimes.
