hey dudes im writing a 3-5 page mini research paper for my ap history class and its about any event in history and i have the dvd woodstock so i figured id write about that, but i need help coming up with ideas with specific scources on "how did woodstock influence society" anyone have any ideas? thanks alot for even reading this.
woodstock and hippies in general changed society drastically, hippies made it WAY more ok for people to do what were concidered "off" things before. Hippies changed everything...what was concidered sanity, social culture, pop culture, clothing styles...woodstock also showed people all over that hippies are really nice people, they aren't the violent theeves the news made them out to be...(thats what i took from the song we can be together by jefferson airplane but who knows if i missinterpretted )
The fact that 40 years ago there was a cultural movement and to this day there are still people abiding by its virtues is testement enough to how powerful a movement it was. Given the popular culture of the time (music, art, political unrest) was all part of it, but in this modern time the movement relies solely upon the its virtues... live, love, be free.
Hippies were bear on the mind of many people in those days and nowadays ,too just look at yourself. Well, it's a lifestyle.Wars and the life of people around the world brought the things you know today.Freedom and equality were always big questions of the world and hippies wanted achieve them.
