Illegal aliens from Mexico is the only one that can be proven since there are 30 million of them here, so I'll have to go with that.
if it can be proven it isn't a belief (see hitchikers guide entry on god and babel fish). i believe in there being things there are no names for because no one has even yet immagined them. and i belive in their being mostly harmless or else it would be extremely unlikely for ourselves to exist. i believe in my little furry invisible friends that curl up on top of my covers when i go to bed at night. e.t. aliens are just people who look way different than anything you could ever immagine people looking like. i've lived on several different worlds, further appart then you could get from the solar system of one to that of another in one lifetime at sublight velocities. i don't believe in tin foil hats, but propeller beanies are pretty cool. especialy the solar ones. i don't believe that any belief knows the half of it. as a species we've never left the nursury, only the crib. but we can see out the window that there are other whole houses accross the street. and there just might be people talking about things we'd like to know in other rooms. grown up talk, compared with our collective infancy. there is magic too. but not in arbitrarily imposing our own repulsive immage on everything else. i believe in being nice to the little invissible people that live down by the creek, and not tearing up THEIR countryside. they don't always demonstrate their displeasure, but it still isn't very nice. i don't believe in inventing human names for other kinds of things that already exist and have their own names we don't know for themselves. i believe in skin dancers and nine tailed kitsuni and even in big friendly powerful things that no one knows anything about but too many people, insitutions and other organizations claim to with no rational basis for doing so. =^^= .../\...
