i guess. i was thinking its not ratdog, its the small venues around here.... but then i looked at the price of other semi-big acts at the same venues, and they are consistantly cheaper. 10-20 dollars cheaper.
30+ is to much for me... i could go to a 3 day festie for that much.

$32 to $38 seems reasonable these days considering the legacy of these artists and some of the venues they're playing.

Yes the Ticketbastard service charges are outrageous, but doesn't GDTS Too still handle pre-selling these shows?

GDTS does still sell presale mailorder tickets at facevalue without all those bullshit fees. I just mailed my orders in for 3- ratdog/allman brothers shows that isn't over a 2-3 hour drive from me. Best bet is to order from them. I just ordered tickets for a different show though ticketbasterd $30 for ticket + $16 fees = $46 for a fuckin $30 ticket!

yep - tickets are expensive. I just paid 55 bucks for SCI at the beacon (fuckin ticketmaster/clear channel/live nation). I'm probably going to see Ratdog with Keller at central park summer stage - should be lots of fun- I love outdoor shows!

What did you guys think of that Ratdog/ Allman show at PNC. I thought that Allman brought a lot of energy. I really enjoyed the majority of Ratdog's setlist but a few of the songs seemed to be lacking some life. I've seen Bobby play twice and he seemed a bit less into it for some reason at this show. Still was a great time and I loved a few songs: Looks like rain, Bird song etc.

I enjoyed the Ratdog / Allman show at Nissan Pavillion (VA). Ratdog has gotten a lot better, but the Allman Brothers blew them away. Derek Trucks was a beast.

I dont like Weir, basically for the fact he shut down free trade on all GD soundboards, os I dont care about Ratdog-I will not support them for this fact.

Phil on the other hands is where it is at, last year the line-up was on fire-Phil, Molo, Barraco, Osby, Campbell-what great memories-the best show I saw last year!

This year is promising to be great with Molitz on keys. I have my tickets for Oct 13(birthday show)

Phil Lesh does not have prostate cancer. They caught it early and took care of it with no problem back last Dec.

And by-the-way, Phil tickets are running around $40
