I love Surf music. I didn't hear of this band before but they sound good!

Tool - 'Aenima'

 

Yeah, surf is good . Excellent summer music. But there's quite a lot uninteresting surf rock in my opinion.. it's just missing that vibe. Eddy & the Showmen have it though!
I've never understood what's so brilliant about Tool..

I have also never truly understood the fascination with tool. I have a few friends who are tool fanatics, but I just cannot get into their music. My friends and I have very different music tastes, though. I have never listened to Red Snapper, but I will give them a listen.

I'm listening to Tori Amos covering 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. it's...bizzare. I know the words so well from Nirvana but coming out of Tori they are all ethereal and feminine and it's so..different. Great, but different.

 

well 30 seconds of a random song doesn't do much for even the best music. you need to place it in the context of the cd. as a whole the cd is great. but a 30 second clip of a random song from the cd..blah.
