Prom With Dreads

My hair for prom consisted of pulling back some of my dreads that hang around my face, and then pinning my bangs back with two bobby pins to lay over the dread ponytail partially (my boyfriend like that because you couldn't see the binder i used to tie the dreads up with) then the dreads that were still down were adorned with 4 custom beads from hummblebee, my small silver beads that i always wear and wire with pearl beads on them which were wrapped around a few dreads. i feel it was simple yet elegant. and it was fun

so what do you think?

lucyinthesky, you could pull a bit of hair out of a few dreads and make some long bangs similar to mine, it might help you feel like they suit your face better

you look lovely! i hope i can get my dreads to look as nice for my grad. we dont have a prom, but we dress up for the grad ceremony and then co on a little mini cruise to the city at night

and thanks i got the dress for 8$ at the goodwill... it was in almost perfect condition until i went and spilled pasta on it during dinner

awe thanks! I've actually got another prom tomorrow and am wearing black and white with red as the accent color so i am going to have wire with read beads wrapped around my dreads along with the ones with pearls

 

Matt's Prom went good, except that i wasnt feeling too good
