So yeah, the lameish legal herbs that don't really do much, if anything (I've had zero success with the both of these). I was curious to hear if there was a method of extracting the active alkaloids out of them. Or maybe for a simpler thing, I could just steep s certain amount in some hot warer?
Steep them. The Dagga was SO disgusting I literally could not chug or drink it, even with added honey and sugar, so I threw most of it away. Possibly the worst thing I've ever tried to drink, and I've had DXM extraction. 7 grams was said to produce a strong, hypnotic buzz. Sounded great, but I just couldn't get it down. As for the Lotus, 14g's or a little less seems to be good for a strong buzz, but I'm afraid to try that out because of how bad the Dagga was. I don't want to waste it like I did the Dagga. I wasn't too happy about it. So I'm unsure of things at this point. If only I could shove a tube down my throat into my stomach. Heh....
Dagga is a great plant. It is similar to weed in a way, but not at all psychedelic. There are many places you can get it. My favorite is herb-hut.com. Try some diggity dagga. Dagga has a reverse-tolerance effect (like many other drugs), so if you smoke a small amount daily for a little bit, and then you go all out and smoke a bunch you should get much more of a buzz. Lotus is much milder than dagga... but you could still try it.
I don't want to call anything a "replacement" for pot. Simply because it isn't pot, and it doesn't feel like pot. With pot I've often smoked to get completely blazed, you really can't do that with dagga (well, you can but it's rather pointless). I'd say you should order it again, just don't order it from the same place. Check around on other forums where the best dagga is sold. If you keep your expectations low, you'll be pleasantly surprised, if you have high expectations you'll be disapointed.
Meh, I dunno. I have expectations of different sorts. I know nothing is really a true replacement for pot, because if there were a replacement, it'd be illegal too. What do you mean when you say it isn't psychedelic? Do you mean it makes you feel good, just perceptions-wise nothing really happens? Or maybe the effects aren't strong enough to really be considered 'psychedelic'?
I gave them an honest try - money down the drain. They didn't work for me. People who actually sell this stuff online have no soul. They know they're selling shit.
Everyone's different though. I made an extraction out of about 7 grams of flowers, tried to drink it, but couldn't. I got some of it down and felt more relaxed. I think if I managed to get all of it down, I may have felt a nice buzz.
I have smoked both for a nice buzz, especially the lotus. Going to try the lotus-in-the-wine gig from egypt, see how that works soon.
