Reading the crossing swords thread got me to thinking: essentially one of the things that makes me bitter is that I never had a fully "pornographic" experience. There is the issue of porn being targetted toward male audiences, of course. But also some of it is a bit unrealistic without big budgets, I don't know.

Maybe my porn consumption makes me more bitter toward gender relations as they are? Simply because porn is so fantastic and therefore so much the opposite of the way merely profane sex is?

    Comments please.

porn is like a movie, its a hyper version of reality. its not truly real, but a set of desires/fantasies/dreams/wants like most movies are. you cant expect real regular life to be like the movies, nor can you expect real regular sex to be like porn

I understand that...to an extent. But still, it's not like I'm talking about special effects. And sexual fantasies can be explored!

That is the funny thing about it. It contrasts with the mediocrity of the sexual experience of most people. And it makes me angry. :)
