I aint been doing much pills and shit in recent months, so im a lightwaight agen,but i took 1/4 to 1/2 gram of MDMA and it was INSANE!!!!! It was realy messy, confusing, lovly, and i couldnt see proberly, my hole vision went all bluring,, i could hardy tell who people were? any1 else get this or was it shit in the MD?
first off- Usual doses of MDMA range from around 80 to 160 mg - not 250-500mg ( see erowid entry ) 2nd- how would you know how much actual mdma you took. Obviously you are just guessing. Finally- Yeah- those are pretty much normal happenings, especially the first few times you roll . Some of those effects will become less and less the more you roll.
i kinda get the impression he's rolled before but stopped for a while...? and you can totally know how much actual mdma you're taking. maybe not in pressed pill form, but you can know. and he was guessing . he said anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 gm. i've never gotten to where my vision went blurry or i couldn't tell who people were. unless there was something else in it, and then those affects would be accompanied by tons of other ones. not saying you didn't have pure mdma though. never happened to me. soooo i dunno . sounds radical though.

That is actually a rather large difference. Seeing how doses are typically measured in mg (not grams), with the typical dose being between 70mg-120mg. So 1/4 to 1/2 gm equates to 250-500mg which is an extreme amount (more than double the normal dose), and a large size difference between 250mg to 500mg. FOr the sake of argument (and ease of math) lets just say the normal dose is 125mg. That would mean that if he took 250mg, he actually took 2 doses (double what you would need for a good roll). And if he took 500mg, then he took 4 times the dose needed for a good roll. As far as blurry vision- hell yes! A good strong dose will (a) mess up your depth perception, and (b) give you "eye wiggles"- Those eye wiggles will mess up your vision good. Obviously if your depth perception is screwed, and your eyes are in constant motion, yeah you are not going to see worth a shit. Personally, I love getting a strong enough dose that my vision is fucked I know I am rolling balls when I can't see straight LOL
lol if you've never got the eye shakes and blurred vision you're either a. not taking mdma or b. not taking a proper dose of mdma.
Chopper, why are you acting so doubtful? Geez. I'm not sure what the situation is like where you're from, but in the UK, MDMA is sold all the time in grams and half grams - the guy bought half a gram from a dealer and he ate it, end of. I'm guessing (hoping) he didn't do it all at once that would be pretty stupid as you say, although I can *definitely* see the merit of doing ~250mg of MDMA in one go (not that I'd often do that), and I'm sure there are some with more tolerance than me, who might take even more.
Thanks for pointing that out to me... Yes, I did come across too skeptical, My apologies to the OP I tend to forget the big difference from UK to US. Buying a gram is just not even possible (mostly) here. You can buy pills or caps, but buying a gram of pure powder mdma- such a rarity that it would be highly suspicious if it was ever offered up to me.
