California....California, here I come!

So if anyone has been paying attention to any of my posts, some of you might know that I was hoping to get this job on Catalina Island...

Well, the jury is in, and they offered me a position! WAHOOOO!!!!

She called me yesterday and offered me the "Marine Science Instructor" position. I have never been so excited in my life.

Life is good...and I'm happy...nothing can ruin my day, week, or month, for that matter

I start on August 22nd, tentatively...but hopefully I will get out to the coast before then to visit some friends and see the island before I actually move there.

My god..life is GREAT.

Really, any town or place I live in is a step up from here...I know you can attest.

 

do you plan on seeing the boy in Cali?

 

I don't know...maybe. I've given up on that whole thing, to be honest. He's a mess...and I'm totally getting my life together.

I will look forward to hanging out with his mother though on occasion. She's great

island 26 miles off the coast of socal. easy to get there from long beach, loads of charters and stuff.

 

yup. awesome little place, resort, too.

 

nah. the worst thing about the place is the vomitty bathrooms on the charters.

 

yeah, that was kinda the idea.

 

no, i just recommend not getting it on in the charter bathrooms.

i guess that tells you how much i know about down there. all i know about are my sierra mountains up here. the only time i lived in SOUTHERN california was about six months when i was three years old.

now if you ever get a chance to come up MY way ...
