Was wondering if anyone had tried one of those A.W.O.L.(alcohol with out liquid) machines? (alcohol vaporizers) or any other method of inhaling alcohol? (such as the dry ice method) and if it really works.

This is a link to one such device - http://www.awolspirit.com/howitworks.htm

i got a nebulizer, but does it burn ya lungs as your inhaling?? also for other people on here, maybe you could put alcohol in a test tube and light the bottom while breathing the steam with a straw - i dunno it may work - kinda like an ice pipe i guess

A german technician was sent into the rocket nozzle of a V-2 during WWII to inspect a problem. The fuel for the V-2 was 75% alcohol (the rest was water) burned with liquid oxygen. Ther was an alcohol leak that day. The guy passed out from the alcohol vapours and had to be pulled out of the engine. kind of what you folks are thinking about.

I take hand sanitizer, which is like 67% ethyl alcohol, rub it around on my hands, and just take a huge huff. You start to see everything in 1D, and your perception on everything is weird. It's like a drunk-trip. Because when you aren't really drunk, it's more of a mind think than anything. If you've tripped, and you have drank at anytime in my life, I think you catch my drift. But it worked pretty well, when I couldn't have any drugs for 8 days, since we were in the back country of New Mexico. It's good stuff, though.

I think alcohol would be extremely damaging to the lungs. More so then smoke (over a short period). It just seems like a corrosive type of liquid even though it really isn't. Dunno. I think it would hurt to inhale alcohol....a lot. At least an amount to get tipsy from.

Just because it didn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for anyone else.

    Experience is individual.

    Snorting alcohol works.

It was on the news a few months ago, Prince Harry snorting Vodka.

Now, that'll get you messed up. One small teaspoon of Vodka, snorted, apparently hits you equal to one beer. So, if snorting is your only method of consumption, a bottle of spirits high in alcohol would last you quite some time.

By snorting alcohol, you're sending pretty much all the alcohol content straight to your brain, where it will hit you in seconds.
This is no where as bad for your lungs as it is for your brain.

Most obvious problems with snorting is lack of filtration and little to nil blood alcohol content, which poses problems if someone chooses to get behind the wheel.
