It pisses me off to know that our own fellow citizens (those of the United States of America) do not know their own rights... so... I am here today and each and every day to notify you of those and a few amendments made.

The U.S. bill of rights and the first ten amendments...

Amendment I - Freedom of religion, speech, the press, peaceful assembly, and petitioning the government.

Amendment II - The right to bear arms

Amendment III - No peacetime or illegal housing of soldiers

Amendment IV - No unreasonable searches or seizures

Ok... I'm feeling a bit lazy... I'll get back to this later.

and how many of these are still really in effect now that we have the "patriot" act?hardly anything that our country believes in, or claims to, is what we practice nowadays.

My sister informs me that over 1700 people were arrested at the RNC. To make it even worse some of their lawyers weren't allowed in the makeshift jail they created to hold all of em.

Makes me glad to live in CAnada.

And I have yet to watch the RNC on T.V. either.... I've been reading about it in the news though... I was too busy watching that renovating show on Fox to be bothered by that conservative nonsense.

lmao... my mom took that a few days after I was born. I've been looking at our photos and looking at postcards, pics of canada, alaska, my grandparents, family, scrapbook stuff... my mom was obsessed with mick jaggar and she saved news clippings with him in it... I think she met him in Bali when he got married illegally or something. Funny... but we don't have any pictures of my uncle who died in April... I kind of feel bad about it though. The only picture we have s his ID badge from when he worked at JR's in North Carolina. I remember seeing a picture of him and my dad back in 1959 I think... or it may have been later... I can't remember.

your rights are like a joke to them
we need to make a stand and stop this abomination
the us goverment needs to be stopped
for our own safty and for the well being of generations to come
after the power is put back into the hands of the people will we finally have peace

There are no people. You've got over 200 million people shouting different things... and there's always that one nutjob who wants to fuck it up for someone else.

dont forget that later on in one of the amendments it's rephrased to "privileges", so you don't actualy have rights, you have "privileges"...
no shit... they keep going on and on about protecting freedom and shit, id love to be like then what the fuck is with the patriot act if your so concerned with protecting our freedom?!
plus tonight they showed a protester that snuck in getting arrested and dragged away, i bet they took her out back and beat her... :(
not to mention theres a realy annoying pattern to the conference, it's like:
blah, blah, blah, george *smile* *applause* blah, blah, blah, george *smile* *applause* etc.
    :$
