Has anyone here ever used rockdust as a fertilizer?

I just heard a story from a guy named David Wolfe about an orange tree being able to survive in Michigan because it was fed rockdust and it became so strong from all the minerals. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with using rockdust on their garden?

And what about sonic bloom or dilute ocean water, is anyone familiar with that?

Never heard of rockdust before. We live cose to a volcano, perhaps it's something I could take advantage of to make a few bucks. But since our soils are already high in it, it's probably not marketable in this area.

I live in view of Mt. Lassen, an active volcano. Most of us use the rock to outline our beds and driveways and I've personally used it to try and keep my dog from digging out of the yard.
