i've been an active member of the art club for THREE FUCKING YEARS (minus the semester and a half that i was at my other school) and i did his stupid little AP art bullshit and this is how he fucking treats me i didn't pay the FIVE (yeah.thats fucking FIVE) dollars for art club dues (YET) and he doesn't let me vote for officers and just fucking excludes my name from the ballot for vice president. (actually, i'm pretty sure i was the only one running for vp.)i was going to fucking win, and all because i didnt give him five fucking dollars he gave it to someone who's not even a junior, doesn't really fucking want it, and will have like 2 more years there to be able to run for shit. this is MY LAST YEAR. it's fucking stupid and its not fucking fair. what an asshole. oh and also. for the AP art shit they had a reporter come in and interview or whatever. and the only actualy art that they mentioned for their concentration area or in general in that article were people who were taking fucking photos. that makes us look shitty. they didnt even talk to the people who were actually putting some kind of goddamn time or effort into the thing. this is so much more bullshit than i need right now
i have nothing against photography. its great. hell, i do it.. but they're not photographers. they're kids who were too lazy to do artwork that they actually could have done. one guy is amazing, but he just took pictures of the fucking sky. they got their cameras and took pictures and were done in an hour. maybe i'm just bitchin cos i had to do 12 oil paintings and now i hate it. plus babin is being such an asshole. what the fuck ever

I was a day late with my dues and was taken out of the presidency for my Art Club AND the Art Honor Society. I was pretty pissed. They gave the presidency to a Freshman that refused to do anything but paper mache. Yea....
High School becomes a vague blur within minutes of leaving....seriously though don't sweat the small stuff
Always pay your dues and pay them on time. I don't know of any organization that takes dues that would let you run for officer if you haven't payed, high school or otherwise. Now you know the value of your $5. I'm sure it all feels like a big kick in the nads but it's May! Assuming your school and club year starts in September like most - seems like you've had a lot of time to come up with that $5. Sorry to hear they blew off the other arts in the article though. That'd probably miff me too, if I was in your shoes.
im so done with high school and these so called art teahcers out of the four years i've been here not once have i seen any of there art.bullshit.so yeah don't take it to seriously.he can go suck a big one.
there was no deadline. i went to a different school at the begining of the year. i just got back like 2 months ago..he mentioned it once? maybe? he coulda said SOMETHING when he was making the fuckin decisions. or at least mentioned something about the ballots and all that shit. on another note..he really is a good art teacher.. he's just a dick sometimes. and it all started when i got into lsmsa. whatever
anything art related is fucking bullshit my dear tis the nature of the beast if you actually want to be an artist you have to deal with alot of bullshit from all different angles theres a guy i know that never went to school for it, he just does alot of blow and does these insanely amazing pictures i guess one thing i've learned in the life of art is that you can just fuck it all, do alot of blow, and still be sitting in a bar at the end of the night i am a photographer...i spend alot of time in the darkroom, so maybe lay off...i mean yeah it's high school...but just cause they make it look like they didn't spend that much time on it doesn't nesicarily mean that they didn't... i've done the whole 12 oil paintings due for a class in 5 hours type thing too man..i know it's hard..but they're equally hard...ya know..if you actually put forth an effort that is... but again..it's high school...
Yeah, I think I've been there before, too... I actually came second for SCA president in middle and high... but then they said I hadn't filled out a sheet and it was too late, the third time around. I guess we know why our country's gov't is the way it is.
i'm just saying that i know they didnt stress out at all. and thats all i did for 2 weeks. and fuck that. and fuck you, guy up there. go away if you dont like it.
