Well I tend to remember lyrics if I hear a song enough. Do you mean memorising lyrics that you have written or ones from someone else's song? I think if you sing four bars repeatedly until you get those four bars memorised, then move onto the next four bars, you should memorise the song after an hour or so. Someone else probably has some better ideas.
I'm not a lyric writer, but I had a secret hope that writing lyrics creates an immediate bond with them so that you'd remember them automatically, because they're yours. Guess that's not how it works, then?
Yeah, if I listen to a song enough, I'll remember it. Just repeat the lyrics and read them at the same time until you think you've memorized them. Repetition is key.
if you wrote them it might be a little easiar to remember them, if someone has recorded them you should just listen to the song over and over again
If its lyrics i just listen to the song over & over...after the 2nd or 3rd time i usually memorize it.
