The House on Haunted Hill

I'm talking about the old one with Vincent Price in it. I love this movie. I was just wondering if anyone else out here loves it as much as I do?

 

haha that was a very strange movie. i saw it a couple years ago and dont remember much besides the really bad special effects with the ghosts. it was kinda funny wasn't it? i dont really remember it that well

 

Yeah it's effects are kinda lame,lol.. but I guess that's what makes it cool. I also just like the way the movie looks.. I have a thing for old black and white movies. btw.. thanks for posting.

I haven't seen the old one, but the new one freaked me out... I really hate hospitals and doctors. Especially scary doctors that cut people up. Hehe. Just that building alone scares the crap out of me. Is the old one scary at all?

I watched the first 25 minutes of the new version of The House on Haunted Hill.. I did not like it at all.. I just had to change the channel it was making me so angry.. for some reason lol.. It seemed like it was very hard to follow, I didn't like the way the movie was presented, and Chris Kattan was just really annoying me. The old version is WAY better. WAY WAY better. ......... and Yes There's Acid in There. haha.

 

So is the old version scary at all? Or is it just like the new one but with different actors.

 

No it's way different than the new one. I like the old version SO much better. It's a little scary.. If you were really young and watching it (like I was when I first watched it) yeah it would be hella scary. But if you're older, it's more of a suspense, who did it kinda thing.. It's really good. I suggest you rent it or buy it on DVD or something.

I actually liked the original as well as the one from 1999.

 

This movie is great. Vincent Price was a total genius.
