Anyone interested in snail-mail? Or in having a pen pal?

I gotta confess, I love sitting down and writing a letter. About anything.

No way! I have been looking for a new snail mail pen pal for a couple years now. I've had several snail mail pen pals & only have 1 right now. I have placed ads for pen pals, but the majority of them want to e mail. To me, that's just not as personal.
So let me know, what step you want to take now. Do you want me to give you any information about me? Or maybe pm u my address?

 

I wouldn't mind. I love getting mail and getting to know others. Better than bills and junk mail! :daisy:

Hello! I collect stamps and post cards so I would be into this snail mail thing. I suggest PO boxes be used for security reasons. Anyway tomorrow I am working in town so I will pick up a post card of Parksville beach and send it out if you like. Cheers!

 

Security reasons? I've never had a P.O box & have had pen pals for many years.

 

Sure, I've always been kind of interested in having a pen pal. I've had some in the past, and it's always been a neat experience.

Hello! I was just figuring because this is the Internet the person you give your home address to could be a psycho. So PO boxes would be a little safer. Cheers!

 

Understandable. I guess I like to live my life on the edge then. lol I've had worse than internet pen pals. I've had prison pen pals.

don't worry about people that are psychos. The worse that will happen would be the same as if some person that lived on your street knew where you lived!

 

oh ps... i would like a pen pal as well! I think its cool to have someone you can tell your innermost secrets to. Odds are you will never face to face meet that person. Unfortunately with the rise of internet and MYSPACE everyone can contact everyone in a matter of seconds... who wants to wait on snail mail? I think its a shame though.

I'm really down for snail mail. PM me if you want to be pen pals. Letters are much more personal. E-mail is degrading. I love letters, because you can put cool stamps on them and colour the envelopes and send each other packages and design the packages. Snail mail is the way to go. Anyone else interested. I'm dying for pen pals.
