Druggies make bad friends

Anyone else have the same problem?

seems like every so called "friend" of mine, that does drugs, is a horrible friend. Maybe its just because their all irresponsible and only think about drugs or getting "Fucked up" but I don't know. They only think of themselves and only do anything if its for self gain, maybe thats just how people are, but that to me, seems morally wrong.

Yeah I totally agree. My friends that I get high with regularily are actually huge dicks sometimes. Like if all 3 of us are together then they're dicks. But when it's just me and one or the other then it's good. But even when we get high they're still dicks. Also, they say they've smoked me so many times even though I've been smoking them for the past 2 months. Everytime I ask them about it though they say I've smoked them like once or twice. They're just not very nice in general.

 

I have a couple kids that fall into that category. It seems like it only but all of the kids that blow lines. Those of us that just toke get along great and always look out for one another.

 

The druggy friends im expirienced with, our bad friends. All they do is wanna get fucked up and try to make you do your drugs with them, ALL THE TIME. Scumbags.

 

I said, MY friends, I made no large generalization that all druggies make bad friends except the title to get more awnsers.

I agree. BUT- i feel that there are two kinds of marijuana users: 1. The people who are in it to get blazed off their asses 2. The people who are looking to gain the enlightenment which relaxation brings. In the end there are not to many tokers who fit the number two description. In fact, ive never run into one. Every time i toke with my friends i have to laugh at how greedy and even pathetic they are about getting high. Like there's always the dude who'se CONSTANTLY grabbing for the joint, or saying "me next", maybe even pushing to get to the joint. Also- theres the friend who takes the weed you paid for and goes with it into the bathroom and smokes alone to insure that he gets high, with no regard to your condition (true story...). Yeah- the pleasure-seeking stoners ARE greedy because they're constantly searching for pleasure and they dont know this- but they'll never find it in ANY object or any herb for that matter. Marijuana is a catalyst for happiness, but it aint gonna give you bliss. Some people keep chasing that, and they're the greedy folks. Just gotta weed em out and find some cool, respectful stoner friends.

this thread has really hit a spot with me.. i just dont like ALOT of kids now adays. seriously everything EVERYTHING with like this whole group of kids at my school that i hang out with (really like 30 kids from diff grades). basically the stoners who are kind of popular. more like popular kids who have recently(past year) become huge pot heads.

basically i hate these kids yet i still chill with them.. they all talk sorta ghetto now "whats good dawg" and they all just think theyre so tight, everything is a dick measuring thing "i drop so much buds dawg"(they really dont) "id fuck that bitch".
and they all are soooo superficial and materialistic, which is the exact opposite of me.
i hate it and i cant wait to move, i wont miss hardly any of these kids, i want to move to like a hippy town in colorado or soemthing.

 

i feel sorry for you people in these situations

ever since i can remeber i've always limited myself to staying close only with the people i wanted to

yea we were all in the typical "cool kids" group which consisted probably of like a quarter of our whole grade

but you know the people you dont wanna chill with, you know how they are, you know what they bring to the table

so why do u keep hanging around with them? just form a smaller group made up of people you WANT to be around and trust

i feel sorry for you if u have no other friends u could consider for that situation.

 

This post hit the spot. For instance, last weekend i was chillin with my druggy \"friends\". It was 4 of us and only me and another kid(whos actually cool) paid for the 8th of middies we got. We smoked the other 2 kids up about 2 grams of it and we were fucked, then i had a gram left and i wanted to peace from there cause i was too fucked up. The 2 other kids were pushin me and pushin me to throw in my last g for the blunt, i said no and that i was savin it for later tonight. One of the kids goes \"yo david this is what we do, we chill at my house and we smoke all the weed till its gone, throw in for the blunt\". He kept buggin me about it until the other kid who paid for the weed spoke up for me and said that its my trees. I went home, and about an hour later they all get arrested for makin one of those molotov cocktail bombs and smashin it on the street. The cops found all there pipes and shit. If i didnt leave, i would have gotten arrested with them. I got so lucky.

But ya ship, im the number 2 type of stoner for sure. I never smoke weed to get fucked up as possible, ive said this many times, i use weed for a \"chill\" tool. Weed keeps me from going insane with the shit i gotta deal with when im sober, so i use weed as more or less a reward for myself. \"Marijuana is a catalyst for happiness, but it aint gonna give you bliss.\", if i could, id put that in my sig in a second. Toobad im banned and cant do it.

 

Ya dj its not that easy to find good people who like you for you. I admit i chill with the druggies because as long as i have weed, its people to hang out with. They always accept ya if you got weed, i know i know i shouldnt be fuckin with those kids if thats what they use kids for, but sometimes i just gotta get outa the house and chill with some kids my age. DJ, your a very lucky kid who shouldnt take your friends for granted at all, because there really hard to find.

 

Wow... sucks to be some of you, my friends are entirely genuine, and we're equally dicks to each other, in good fun of course. You must be into the whole social thing, having friends that you only sort of like...

 

Since when are stoners considered "druggies". I don't like this thread.

Most of my stoner friends are alright, but I avoid the "druggies" because like you said, they make horrible friends.

 

i have genuine friends, but most of those are in CT. all the ppl in RI im just "friendy" with, i have this one guy at my school that is pretty chill when we are alone or when we are high, but add a few other ppl and hes a jerk for like no reason, it pisses me off, but i guess im too forgiving.

 

i had a group of real genuine, peaceful and loving friends once. i really miss them now, because most of the people I smoke with now do it for the sole reason of getting high.


thats us on the morning after we drove down to the valley to party at a friends house. there were maybe another 3-4 people in our core part of the group, plus a few others who would come out every so often to get high or drunk. i miss them like 10/10.

 

For real, some of you need to take something from this post. At some point it becomes a question of self respect. If you don't like the people you're hangin out with then why are you hanging out with them?
