One of my absolute favorite movies. I must confess that I prefer the version done by Baz Luhrmann as opposed to the original, but they're both great.

I loved it. A true Spectacular Spectacular. Great usage of tunes and visually stunning.

But I gotta admit. I laughed my ass off during the death scene. I couldn't help it and unfortunately, in the theater I leaned over and told my friend what made me laugh and she did too. People were wondering wtf was wrong with us...

..but I dare you to watch that scene and then, as Christian is sobbing over Satine's body think " Promise me...you'll train the boy..."

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm never going to be able to watch that bit again!

I totally ADORE this movie and friend and I sang Come What May at a concert when we were at college and quite often messed about with long cloaks singing Like a Viiiiiiiiiiiirgiiiiiin! :D

Brilliant film visually and content-wise! I love it!

It's a Star Wars nerd thing. Qui-gon's death scene = Satine's death scene.

A great movie. I think Nicole Kidman is amazing. She can act and evidently sing.

Yes, Symple, I think she has a fantastic voice, as does Ewan McGregor.

And El Tango de Roxanne? Ooooh, sends shivers through me. The dancing is so erotic and sensual and the Narcoleptic Argentinian's voice?! Wow!

Definately one of my fav films.
Baz Luhrmann is a directing genius and nobody could have made it as well as he did. The songs are amazing and the camera work is fantastically awesome ahhh i love it so much!

I've never actually managed to get through this whole movie. I've probably watched the start about three times, but ALWAYS get interrupted! I really want to watch it as I love the beginning :) I really love Ewan McGregor's singing. He is quite a good looking man :)

I think I keep getting up to the bit where Ewan McGregor is trying to hide from the...that guy with the long, blonde, slicked back hair. The General or something. I know it starts with a G...

Come What May gives me shivers. And the Absinthe scene is enjoyable. Reminds me of my first experience with Absinthe.
