first, last and only: "themnax" a name i was given either by old galactics, or a ouji board, whichever way you want to look at it. no patrinymics at all either. if neccessary a locative: themnax of lananara. lananara being that "small green planet in a distant galaxy". themnax is me. those names my parents gave me, which are still my official name on legal documents and so forth, those were other people in other times and places i never had anything to do with and never had anything, as far as i know, to do with me. =^^= .../\...
I don't think I would ever change my name, it describes me so well. And I love it when people sing "Joy to the world" or "I've got the joy joy joy joy down in my heart" constantly. Its annoying sometimes, but for the most part it's fun BUT I dont like my middle name as much, so I think I will change it to "poop" haha I would, too.
Probably like Lily or Melody or something. Something that reminds me of a flower or music or something...
I actually really like my name. A lot of people have the same name but no one here in the states has the same spelling.
what is IN a name, both absolutely nothing and too damd much. i really honestly and sincerly believe it is total harmful, and unnessecarily so crap, to name any person, place or thing, after any other person, place or thing. places named after thins are all right, when it isn't being done by developers and real estate agents to be deceptive. but naming people or places after other people is utter and absolute crap. i'd even go so far as to say almost evil crap. the whole naming convention for people in western culture that i grew up in is utter and total crap. we don't NEED patrinymics. what we NEED are sufficiently unique single, individual names. not to resemble ANYthing, but simply as unique identifiers. that's the only GOOD thing that any name ever is! the only reason to ever need more then just a so called 'first' i.e. unique personal, name, is when there are too many people to avoid even then something that sounds too much like duplication. THEN and only then a second name is useful, preferably a locative, the OF someplace or other, rather then the kind of liniage nonsense names we have now. =^^= .../\...
