today at lunch my friend asked me is it possible to be allergic to weed and to be honest i said i dont know. i know you can be allergic to anything really. he told me that his friend allie was smoking and has a sezure and got rushed to the hospital. is it true you can get sezures from smoking for some people? i thought maybe the weed could of been laced but i doubt that because the people she was smoking with would lace weed.
Probably just something weird that happened. I bet if she smoked again she wouldn't have a seizure. My friend drank 12 cups of coffee one day, and had a seizure.
Seizures while partaking in marijuana use has been linked to epilepsy. A friend of mine had childhood epilepsy and he was very hesitant to try weed now because there was a possibility it would fuck his brain up again. And then he didn't leave when we sparked up, got room stoned and within a week was taking some fucking sweet hits from a bong and turned out fine.... but the risk was there. So it may have been a pre-existing condition or someone with a likelihood of developing epilepsy or something like that... Or maybe their brain was just fucked up and its all coincedence.
he said that it was her second time having a sezure while smoking but before that she smoked before and didnt have sezures.
I definitely know it's true.. one of my friends did the same thing when she smoked pot... she started having seizures and shit. It was really scary...
I'd say if she's having more seizures while smoking than while sober she probably shoudn't be smoking.....
I would think there's some risk factors for having a seizure while smoking, I doubt it would just happen to anyone randomly.
seems like a classic case of epilepsy to me, one of my friends had that and he couldnt smoke but he grew for me soooo yeah
My friend has epilepsy and he smokes weed fine. Yes, it IS possible to be allergic to marijuana. People can develope allergies as well, so if your friend was not allergic before, he/she could very well be allergic now. Also, some drugs that affect brain chemistry can react very badly when the person intakes THC. My friend takes meds and if she smokes before the meds are out of her system she is temporarily parilyzed.
I've smoked copious amounts of marijuana and had seizures from being too stoned, but I thin it was the result of an intense panic attack and my body couldn't handle the speed at which my heart was pounding(175+bpm). It doesn't happen anymore because I have learned to focus my energy more on enjoying my high, as opposed to panicking because of my extreme heart rate.
It has been going so fast and hard that my friends could actually hear it beating 2-3 feet away from me and said it sounded like water dripping very fast. All of my friends were, at one time, VERY heavy meth users and they all said that thier hearts have never been beating that fast. And yes, two of them checked my pulse one night when I had one of these reactions and they both clocked it at a little over 200bpm. They almost insisted on taking me to the hospital, but I didn't go.
I'm sorry, but if that was the case you would be a medical phenomenon, which is possible but not probable. The heart beat of 200bpm is believable, though if you don't see a doctor about that you could seriously die, but hearing the heartbeat from any ammount of feet away is very hard to believe.
I swear on it. It literally sounds like a dripping faucet or just a popping noise when it gets that way. I've heard it and my friends have heard it. When it used to happen, I would panic because it sounded like my heart was about to explode, whether you believe it or not. Shit was crazy, man.
