school is about to start and i realize i only have five months before I go on student exchange to Jappan and i'm nervous any suggestions or what to expect
Wow Myan, Japan is Farrr out, its the place to be, if your there, if your not, the place to be is here, now. Because wherever you are is where your meant to be. So in Japan expect, nothing, and fly freely, through the land.
Just remember it's easy when you're big in Japan, otherwise I agree with Eric. And remember... be prepared, Borut
I hear that Japanese girls love American / Canadian men for their bigger, erm, you know. So maybe you'll have some luck in that department.
I have never been to Japan, so I can't exactly tell you what to expect there. But I've been to other foreign countries, and the most important thing I've learned is to be courteous and respectful of the differences in culture; don't be the ugly american they might expect. Take time to learn about the different customs for simple things like greeting strangers, going into a store, how you act in a restaurant, etc. And don't be loud in public. Since you're going through an exchange program, they'll help you out and make sure you know what you need to know to get by without offending people. Just be open to whatever happens, be flexible, and any time something bad happens, to stay positive just think, "Hey, this is happening to me...in JAPAN!!" and that makes most things okay. Good luck.
