Would anyone like to add their opinion regarding "when" to harvest?

    Many books...many opinions...so...

Looking at trichomes under mag shows clear bulb heads, but some books recommend waiting till many heads are amber.

    What's a good indicator?

The reason there are so many different opinnions is because it's a matter of preference. As the buds mature, the ratio of cannabinoids changes - giving a different kind of stone. Different strokes for different folks! You really have to decide for yourself when is the best time to harvest.

The best way to do that is harvest in stages - some a little early (mostly clear), some a little later (mostly cloudy), some a little later (1/2 cloudy and 1/2 amber), etc. etc. Just keep track of which is which, so you can judge them after they are all cured.

Gosh....should have been a scientist in my youth! Using magnifying glass more than I ever did in school!

I'll be curious to see that results come from the efforts.

    Thanks to all.
