Strange Experience. Last night, I dreampt I was standing at the school canteen, when I friend called Daniel came by. He asked what happened to my arm, because at the time I was weraing a cast, and I said, I broke it I can't skate anymore. (In real life I just sprained my ankle and can't skateboard on it) He replied he also broke his arm and can't skate either. Then I said goodbye and looked into the canteen and saw these bicuits, with red jelly inside them. I kept looking at them until I finally bought them. Then in Real life today, I go to school, and the first thing I see is those exact same cookies sitting on the raling as a girl was unpacking her bag looking for a book. What do you think this means?
I don't know what it means but I've had that experience b4, just differently. Occasionally, I would have a dream that when I wake up, I don't remember what it was. On that day, next week, or in 2 YEARS (it happened before) , I would have a sense of deja vu. Then I would remember that I had a dream of it. Or I would remember a dream n when its about to or begins to happen, I would already know all of the event or sequence of the event. It's weird n scary sometimes.
Yes, that's happened to me many times, but I remembered my dream that morning perfectly, and then the exact same day I saw the biscuits. And the biscuits were like a massive part of my dream, I was staring at them the whole time. It's seems to be a very big coincedence.
that's just about the way it is with me except for the scarry part. i don't really find it scarry at all. a little odd perhapse. but then the unknown is my friend, considering how unfriendly the familiar can be at times. things that happen in my dreams DO sometimes happen later in my life, but that doesn't make them very useful at predicting anything because i never really know which dreams and what in them will, nor as you pointed out, when. it could be the next day. it could be years or even decades later, or again, as just as unpredicatably often happens, not at all. one thing about futures i believe is that nothing is predestined, and that mulitple paths are constantly being fallowed, even within the sphere of influence of individual cultures. i believe we have nontangable friends, but that the kind of world we live in has more to do with incentives directly created by how we live in it. by our own hands in other words, rather then how something else, however mysterious or powerful, might react to them. oh, and i don't think it's about "meaning" anything. i believe it's just a natural thing that happens. =^^= .../\...
Haha I once had a dream where the 6th form at school were having a party. All this food was on a long table in the corridors, and me and my friend were hungry so we stole some food from their table. Then one of the teachers tried to kill us using a paper knife. I thought it was funny so next day I told my friend who was in the dream what happened. As we were going home we walked down a corridor and there was all this food out on tables and one of the teachers was standing in front of it... Now there is a running joke that that teacher is going to try and kill me with a paper knife. It wasn't scary or anything though, I don't think it meant anything. It was just a funny coincidence. Either that or I subconciously heard someone say something like 'lets put the food tables out in the corridors' the day before and it resurfaced in my dream next day.
If the red jelly filled biscuits mean anything, it might be saying that something which you see as sweet may make you sick, a precursor of sickness. Does the coincidence mean anything? Most probably not. Has it had an affect? Most definitely, it has sharpened your sense of awareness. But don't go looking for meaning until it has proved itself, meaning that first you have to see what happens, then if it happens again in the future then you will have some idea of what is about to transpire.
I know what you mean, Last year I had a series of dreams about my current boyfriend. I'd been obessed with him for ages. And at the time of all the dreaming I just thought it was because I liked him SO much. As time went on things that happened in my dreams happened for real. I can't tell you why this happens to people... But I do believe that it can work into meaning something important eventually. Listen to your dreams!
I've more or less predicted the future in dreams before as well. The best example I have of this: back in the fall of 1998, I had a dream that I was talking on the phone to Joey Fatone of 'NSYNC. A few days later, I called the local pop station in an attempt to win a contest, and who guess who was in the studio randomly answering the phones? Good old Joey. I've never been able to explain that one!
I once kept having dreams of my significant other cheating on me..Every time it hapened it was the same old scenario..Me trying to fight for her back and her cheating on me. Turns out that the paini was feeling of her cheating on me was actually the pain of me feeling of losing her. I once contemplated on cheating on her..We been together for 6+ years and I was getting curious. Never actually met with anyone or pulled the trigger to cheat, but always fantasized about it. Once we talked about the situation the dreams went away. Never will I again want to go thru that....
