hmmm recently on british tv you had a undercover programme recorded at british mosques where muslims are saying if a women doesnt wear hijab hit her you can hear them saying that here, and I know women who have been forced to wear hijab and had the crap beat out of them for not wearing it heres the tv show http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=2668560761490749816&q=undercover+mosque
wearing hijab is 1 of the girl's rights ..they have 2 do whatever they thing it's the right thing 2 do 4 them i think the wearring hijab problem in france & many places in the world ..is a problem which we can solve just by respecting women human rights
I know a girl who wears hijab and it was a very personal thing for her to decide to do it...and she really loves it and its something very spiritual for her. So I say go ahead and love your hijab. If you don't...there's kind of no point
if muslims are saying that its their right to wear sectarian uniforms what about people being allowed to wear bikinis in saudi . I personally think the hijab and burka is much like a ss uniform because of the things it represents . Say your a homosexual and you see someone wearing clothes of a religion that is also a political system that intends killing you, how is that any different from that girl wearing a nazi uniform and marching up and down past a jew in the 1930s. I dont think you can believe anyone or any campaign that promotes the wearing of the hijab because as in my link people are being beaten to wear it . a girl in london was killed by her father not that long ago for wearing hairspray do you think she would come out and say she was being forced to wear hijab , nope most likely she would have told you what a great thing it was.
Well, if it's not upsetting to see a nun or a rabbi walking down the street, why would it be troubling to see a muslimah? You can't exactly take away somebody's right to expression because some guy sees this person and is offended because he doesn't agree with her. <(^_^<) It's 2007. Are people still scared of the thought of somebody who is different from them? Who is out there McCarthy-izing the poulation into such utterly unreasonable intolerance?
if the catholic church was burning people at the stake and spreading theocratic rule around the world then yes Id view that nun in the same way . Islam isnt just a belief in a very nasty man who claimed to be a prophet and a imaginary god , its a political system . "Are people still scared of the thought of somebody who is different from them? Who is out there McCarthy-izing the poulation into such utterly unreasonable intolerance?" the waffen ss were different . now why dont muslims if they are so in favour of tolerance campaign for the right to wear bikinis in Iran or saudi or for the right of people to build churches there like they are allowed to build mosques in the west
You know, I've heard that some prisoners get so used to being in jail they become institutionalized, and when they get released, they go stright out and commit another crime just to get back in there again.......
I don't know of many nuns cutting folks heads off with dull butcher knives. The priests and the little boys thing is wrong, however there are a good number of very rich Saudi's who go to adjacent countries and marry 12 and 13 year old girls for a day just to get the chance to deflower them. Not much difference in my book. By the way, didn't your prophet marry an under age girl? before you piss a fit, put on a big show and say no you need to know that I know otherwise. I'll get the name and age if you like...it is in the Koran.
her name was Aisha and she married Mohamed at about 6 years old. he was nearly forty and the consumated the marriage when she was 9 years old. Look it up for your self. May be they wear the Hajib to hide the fact that they are under age.
if they want to wear a hijab, or feel the need too, whats the problem. its not anyone elses buisness what someone wears. your right about the thing about parents, husbands, etc forcing the woman to wear it. but if she wants to whats the problem. cause if that happened then all christians would have to stop wearing crosses, jew wouldnt wear yamalkas(sp?) and stuff like that. its someone elses culture. if you arent part of that culture and dont understand it completely then you have no right to judge it.
So then , it's wrong if Islamic parents make their daughters wear the hijab - and equally wrong for Islam to insist on it.
Wrong? Oh, definitely,~ how dare anybody have the audacity to try to preserve a sense of decency in the world? After all, it's the 21st century!
There is though a definite contradiction in saying a) people shouldn't interfere with others choice of dress, and b) Islamic parents should make their children wear an hijab. Why do you think the human form is 'indecent'?
Point duly noted. Parents also force their children to go to school and eat healthily. Are you against that, too? ~Not trying to insult you, by the way.
if u hate islam or muslims, keep this to urselves... we love our faith and our teachings... at least we have rules to follow and a Great God to worship !! what about you ? have sex or alcohol?!
