Thanks. They are growing well even though they still have the problems. As long as they live till they give me bud then I'm happy.
They're hangin in! The smallest one and the biggest one are doing good, getting color back and growing the serrated leaves like crazy. The other one isn't getting any worse, which is good, and it's growing steadily. I think it might have been a nute problem like people were saying because the plant food spikes I put in are gone now and the plants are responding well.
definately nute burn......but as long as they are turning around then just keep on doing what your doing. Remember flush em' once a month to keep em clear of any buildups. Good luck.
So I'm 21 days into the growing. They are growing mad crazy now and have 9-10 pairs of the serrated leaves. The tallest one is 6" tall, followed by a 5 1/2" and a 5" (the 5" used to be the tallest which doesn't make much sense to me...but awell). So my question is...is it too early to tell the sex? About 3 nodes up there are straight green thingies (that look like the female part of the plants, but not white) on one plant, and those same things are curled up into tiny balls on another. One plant doesn't have anything in the nodes. I wish I could give pics of the nodes, but my camera sucks too much. I was thinking that the balls are male and the straight things are female, but the sites I looked at say you can't tell until you put them under 12/12 (they are under 18/6) and until they get around 8" tall. Is it possible my plants are just growing super fast?
I've kicked them outside cause they were being bad plants! lol they were reaking to high heaven and I know people in the dorm are suspiscious...so now I must sneak out at night into the woods! lol Luckily no one goes back there and there is heavy growth so people will continue not to go back there. Plus if they are found they have no connection to me.
3 weeks is usually too early. but some cases it isnt, depending on the strain being grown and other stuff.
Sorry y'all I've been away for 3 weeks and a few days. Suprisingly the plants are alive and well! I will take pics when I can. When I went out yesterday I could only take a glance for a quick second. Next time I go out I am going to sex them (I really hope none of them got pollinated!) and get rid of the males.
Good news on the ganja front: I couldn't take a picture so I will just tell y'all whats up. 2 of the 3 plants are growing well. The other is still like sprout size which is really wierd so I abondonded it. Luckily, I am pretty sure the 2 others are female. They are 3-4 feet tall and pretty thickly stemmed with lots of leaves. No problems with bugs, fungi, moss, etc. I thougth they would have been budding by now but I guess I can think of 2 reasons they aren't: 1. before I left for 3 1/2 weeks there was about a week of no rain 2. they are outside and its sunny, definetly not 12/12 light. I'm going on vacation for a week starting next friday and I was thinking about starting to bud them when I get back. Anyone else think I should start budding them now? How would you suggest doing so outside?
Yeah but I need my plants to bud before August and I don't think they will with the sunny days ahead.
requires alot of trips outside... you can do that by covering them up with black trash bags... orrr.... if you have the resources.. you can use a car battery, a timer and a little motor.. you build a fence out of sticks which you cover with black plstic... the motor takes off the lid during day time...for the neede amount of time.. but this could be a little hard to figure out...
It will only take one short trip a day. I will be keeping them by the tree line since it is overgrown and you can't see in the woods now anyway.
and how do you plan on covering them back up at night?? cause the next morning if they aren't covered up...they're damn sure to get light...
