Every American remembers learning about the Whiskey Rebellion. I remember first learning about it in elementary school with little understanding about it's importance.

My thought now, is "What The Fuck?"

How come Washington and the rest of his cronies could start a revolution because of being unfairly taxed, but when middle america tries it, Washington invokes martial law just to break up an innocent protest?

It probably would have been the Second American Revolution.

Well you gotta remember for one thing despite what it said in Dazed and Confused, there was alot more to the American revolution then a bunch of rich white guys that didn't want to pay their taxes, but on the tax issue the rallying cry was taxation without representation(which people in Washington DC still use) as our own nation people were now being taxed by persons they had elected, not a parliment in England they had no say in.
