Problem is you don't have a question. We have siad no we don't believe in it. Sorry we didn't make it a simple yes or no.
I don't think there is asking for it. Stupidity however is rampent in this world and we do have to guard ourselves against it. Would you leave the worlds largest most perfect diamond on a table in the middle of time square completly unattended and not expect something to happen to it? Does that make it your fault that someone stole it? It doesn't make it completly your fault but it doesn't make you guilt free either. When a guy says, "She was asking for it" its usually just a cop out for them to justify what they did. However there is a law of cause and effect in this world. If you leave said diamond out you have to accept the responsibility that it could be stolen. Since you yourself didn't steal the diamond its not your fault that its gone, its the person who took its fault but some of the responsibility does lie on your foolish action. I realize that a diamond in timesquare is probably the most extreme example of this and most of the time would never happen, but I have known girls who at a party drank heavily, got naked, made out with several different guys, continued to drink heavily with very drunk guys then wondered how they ended up having sex with a guy they didn't want to, and claimed to be raped. In this case I can't see any other way then that at least a little bit of the blame must lie with them. If anyone can show me a way that doesn't involve shared blame in this case please do.
I'm sorry guys but this quibbling is bs. No one, male or female, no matter their age, race, type of dress, or belief in humanity (leaving their drink unattended and believing that it will be unharmed) etc. ASKS to be harmed in any way, especially something as violent and traumatizing as rape.
