I'm in love with music right now.

I've been up all night listening to music, and I'm just in love with it right now. I'm in love with the songs, the voices, the people who make music, album art, all of it. I've been feeling slightly "down" about music somewhat recently, but I'm working on recording this album pretty much all the time right now, and I just love the world of music, and I'm really glad that it's such a big part of my life. That is all.

Oh yeah, and I'm listening to Elephant 6 cover The Velvet Underground--how neat is that?

Well yeah, you can't beat the originals... but bands I love covering my favorite band? Good stuff.

 

i'm in love with neil young. thats what i've been listening to lately (well, and all my life seeing as thats what my dad used to sing me as a baby).

and bright eyes (but i think derek's figured that one out by now). "in that one song, i felt EXACTLY like that before"



i almost bought this shirt that said "Maybe if you were in a band" but its from hollister originally, and has the symbol on it. and i refuse to be a billboard for them.

I think I understand why music seems so great right now. For the past while (months) music has been work to me: working hours upon hours on headphones, putting long hour days at the studio, studying audioness, and so on. And no it's like I can just listen for fun for a brief moment.

Surprisingly enough, some people have covered the Velvet Underground pretty well... have never heard Elephant 6 cover them though... I should download.

 

Yeah, music's incredibly important to me as well...and it always has been. I've been in music classes for years, and I've learned to play several instruments. Right now I'm working on the fine art of songwriting.

Oh yeah, and I love to listen to music as well. I can't fall asleep or do much of anything without some music in the background.

Music or really good grilled cheese is damn near closest thing I have to sweet lovin. David Crosby couldn't have put it any better. The Croz can be one pissed off dude, but I think no dude's vocals can compare to Croz.

You really can't ever go wrong with David. He's one of those dark, yet warm dudes, at times, that always manages to make me smile... He can be pretty ridiculous when it comes to artists rights. I really can't blame him, most of the time.
