Why don't we just start a new country?

I am SICK and TIRED of being sad and dwelling and wallowing and bitching and moaning and all of it, over what has come of America and the world, for that matter. I'm brand new, this is my first post, so I havn't had a lot of time to look through all the boards and see if there's already a thread about this kind of thing but...

I really think that me and my friends and all you nice people... and all the nice people of the world who want peace and goodness... should put all our money together and buy a fantastic island somewhere. And just start over. Away from the Establishment. Make our own country. Live off the land. And let the straight republicans have their fucking war and government and shit. If you own an island, I would assume you can do whatever you want on it. Then we could make our own rules (or have none) and not have to worry about the pigs harshing our mellow.

I fear the damage has been done to much of the world. Technology. Materialism. Fancy cars. Shit. And I just don't know if it's repairable... or even worth repairing.
