Do any of you know where I can find instructions and photos to make sandals and totes using plastic grocery bags ?? I have founf just a little info but sure want more if you can help me. thanks !!!

I used shredded plastic bags to crochet this: There's a bit of yarn in there too to make it a bit more sturdy... but it turned out to be a good shopping bag a pain in the butt though to spend all that time shredding plastic bags...
My plastic bag you mean? The bag itself is crocheted, and about 16 inches wide... I started with a row of single crochet, and then did a row of double crochet along each side, and then double crochet around each row to make the height of the bag... I had shredded plastic bags into 1 inch strips and I used ~ I think ~ an 8mm crochet hook... if that helps.... I'm sure there are free instructions for this somewhere online...

dang cerridwen that kicks ass. I wish we were friends in real life so you could teach me to do that i love it! how long does it take you to do that? and how many bags?!? And how much would you charge for one? haha
you have access to some pretty colored bags! I'm jealous. It's a beautiful bag. I'm working on one with almost all boring white bags and I think the extra strain of working the plastic is giving me carpal tunnel.
