Kinda new here, but decided to give my opinion about 300. The movie blew me off, it was even more than I expected watching the trailer. I love arts and this movie is realy the master-piece!
It is SO right-wing propoganda (and I quote: "Freedom isn't free!") but nonetheless visually stunning for a film with such a low budget. In response to Haze_9999's question, the stars in 300 began their training two months prior to shooting. Gerard Butler's body went into shock from his excessive exercise.

it was a very emotional movie..I like the fight scene..I was so amaze with their technique and their dedication to their job and willingness to risk their lives for the sake of their people..awesome movie..
Have you seen the posters for the movie. Who else thought those abs from Gerard Butler were photoshoped? Not that I'm complaining
